Apolis Motorcycle Tour Through Vietnam

Oh man ... this is the coolest expedition I've seen in a while! The guys from clothing company Apolis are setting off to motorcycle through the Vietnam countryside. They'll be testing some Apolis products as well as documenting the trip.

Designer Low-Energy Lights

London design company Hulger has released Plumen - the world's first designer low-energy light bulb. Apparently they use 80% less energy and look pretty damn good! We can't buy them in Canada yet but hopefully coming soon ...

Diesel Be Stupid - make your own bag

Diesel is hosting a 3-day event at their store on de la Montagne. Go in, get a free cloth tote and decorate it with transfers, as part of their 'Be Stupid' campaign. Environmentally friendly and fun. Runs until Sunday 11th.

Beijing Punk

Beijing Punk was shot during the Chinese Olympics and looks at the punk, drugs, sex and rock and roll scene in the heavily restricted China. The documentary was filmed by Shaun Jefford and is now banned across China.
