Andrew de Freitas

Andrew de Freitas, now settled in Montreal, hails from New Zealand where he attended the Elam School of Fine Arts before enrolling at the Univeristy of Toronto.

From there Andrew went on to study at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia, and graduated from Concordia's philosophy and fine arts programs with honours. Working across multiple medias, Andrew also writes and was featured in issue 10, the Crowds issue, where he explored various elements of the phenomenon of human interaction, from religious festivals, choirs, community and identity.
