Raphael Ouellet

Born in Rimouski, Quebec, Raphael Ouellet now lives and works in Montreal and is establishing himself as a professional photographer, having already made contributions to an impressive number of publications from La Presse, Le Devoir, Urbania, VOIR and Clin D'Oeil to Newad Media magazine Nightlife.

Raphael won our photo competition in issue 10 with an incredible shot he took at a political demonstration in Montreal. Since then Raphael has gone on to shoot a series of artist portraits for our 11th, the Paper issue. Raphael recently launched his website, where he showcases his broad variety of work, from fashion and in-studio portraits to a more photojournalistic style, one that he has already been well acclaimed for among Montreal's daily papers.
