Stop motion

Type Books in Toronto released 'The Joy of Books,' a stop motion set in their store after hours. It was shot over 4 nights with more than 15 volunteers involved.

25 days, 25 nights, 2 hours to paint each nail. Umm ... wow! Kia made this miniature stop motion on painted finger nails. At the risk of sounding like a hater, too bad they didn't come up with a slightly more exciting and better concept for the video. Especially with all those hours ...

Wow! These stop motion 'light painting' films are made using an iPad. Pretty fantastic.   

This is apparently the world's smallest stop motion film - all shot on a Nokia N8 using a microscope. It was produced by Aardman (British studio that made Wallace and Gromit). Pretty damn neat. 

Cool stop motion for Amsterdam electro group 'Nobody Beats The Drum.' It uses 4085 photos of more than 400 wooden blocks. Dedication.
