24 Hour Zine Thing

The '24 hour zine thing' starts July 1st and is the perfect summer project / hectic 24-hour period of the summer break.

The rules are pretty simple. During the month of July, chose a 24-hour period and make a 24-page zine from conception to final product. Entries close July 31st.

There are several rules: you must work alone with no zine prep planning before your 24 hour period (that's right - no pre-prep/thought/planning allowed). The zines must be of a suitable size and technical difficulty. It seems to be based on an honesty system with the point of the challenge being to, well, challenge yourself. Spontaneity!

It's now in its third year, based in the USA but open worldwide. The idea was inspired by '24 hour comics day.'
