Photos by Gordon Welters

Feature Shoot has gotta be one of my favourite photography sites. Whenever I get the chance to check it, I'm always well impressed.
This series by photojournalist Gordon Welters, shot in Berlin, is great.
Since 1998 he has been working as a freelance editorial and reportage photographer. He has worked for Non- Governmental Organizations (NGOs) like Christian Aid and Attac as well as for corporate clients such as KPMG, Deutsche Post and Tchibo. He is represented by LAIF. Of this work, Living on wheels-The Wagenburg Story, he writes, ‘Eight people, six dogs, seven cats, three pigs, the sheep Pauline and Mrs. Krause, two goats, two guinea pigs, the rabbit Erika and five chickens with one cock live together in the trailer park. After the eviction from an inner city site, this community formed on the edge of the German town of Potsdam. The lack of space in rented accommodation, the desire to live ones life more freely, the search for freedom and closeness to nature are some of the inhabitants reasons to live in the trailer park’.
