Them's the Breaks

I don't like to review shows alot because well, shit, you missed it.  But I'm making an exception.  APOCALYPTICA promotions stormed Blizzarts at the weekend, managing to pull bassheads from their Sunday slumber and producing an enviable dance pit- solidly packed out for several hours and still bumping as the lights came up at 3am.

I'd like to stop here to reiterate, it was SUNDAY.  I had work the next day, but that was given little thought as Jack, Dig.iT.al and Adam L dropped one of the most engaging live sets I've heard in a while.  Forgive me for my lack of technical knowledge and inability to distinguish which tracks were coming from whom in this case- I would usually make the effort to find out, but I was too caught up in the beats to take notes.  

Anyway, this time I can justify  a review, as this was the first in a series of monthly dubstep Sunday sessions from APOCALYPTICA, aptly labeled Freedembass. So on Feburary 8 you can check it out for yourself.

And herein lies my dilemma: a whole month to wait!!!
