Nirrimi Hakanson

18 year old Australian Nirrimi Hakanson takes beautiful dreamy photos. She started shooting at 13, capturing the childhood of her siblings, cousins and neighbours; beautiful sunny Northern Australian days. 

- It was always summer and my parents were wild and free, my childhood unconventionally beautiful. All that was, inspired all that is now. And so the naivety and quiet beauty of youth fascinates me, photography becomes a way to relive my own childhood. I'm a gypsy living out of a suitcase but at least I never stop moving, never stop creating.

Her blog is a great read and shows the passion, frustration, and drive of such a young artist. She's achieved a lot of commercial success and at just 17 she shot Diesel's winter campaign in NYC. Wow.
